Job description

Tech Lead(32-40 hours)

Who we are:

Campercontact offers access to more than 40,000 camper locations in 58 countries via an app and website. With this reliable and accessible travel information, compiled by the camper community, more than 1.3 million European campers can always find a suitable overnight or service spot via our platform. Campercontact operates as a platform and connects campers and camper locations, service partners or other B2B companies in this market space. Everything with the aim of providing the best travel experience with your camper.

Who you are:

Are you an ambitious and goal-oriented professional with a passion for software, architecture and SaaS? Then we are looking for you! As a Tech Lead at Campercontact you play a crucial role in the further strategic growth of our platform. In addition to our B2C stream, we have also launched our B2B one since 2023.
Campers can now directly reserve and book their favourite overnight accommodation locations. Camper location owners generate business through our platform and can also create more visibility by purchasing a SaaS marketing package (self-service). Our platform must remain scalable & flexible, have international coverage and can easily provide all the functionalities that our users wish for with the most suitable UI & UX. This is where you come and see!

What magic you will work on:

As a Tech Lead, you are able to help shape Campercontact's strategy and successfully translate it into the most important technical product foundations for the company. This includes our technical platform on the one hand and the user experience in the app and web interface on the other. In this role you work product-oriented and drive the technical innovation of 'platform thinking' within Campercontact. Coordination with business stakeholders and other team members is where you thrive.

With an agile approach, you realize the platform roadmaps together with the Product Owner and the development team by implementing new functionalities and also guaranteeing, increasing and optimizing the technology performance. You set the standards for our architecture and you build and maintain high performing partnerships with a limited number of strategic suppliers. You coach the self-managing Devops team, which deploys and maintains new software in biweekly sprints.
In addition to this management at a strategic and tactical level, you also delve into the code yourself to improve the platform yourself. This can be on the front-end, the back-end or both.

What we offer you:

- Salary: Competitive salary and very attractive pension scheme;

- Holidays: 29 vacation days (based on 40 hours);

- Health insurance: An above-average contribution to your health insurance;

- Scalable product: A position with a lot of responsibility, ownership and room to grow in your professional career;

- Start-up mentality: Opportunity to work in a innovative platform with both B2C and B2B streams and scale-up with ambitious growth plans;

- Training budget: Training (budget) and coaching to take your tech, development and/or management skills to an (even) higher level;

- Hybrid working model: Presence in our office in Amersfoort is required twice per week - the rest you can work remotely;

- Team: An energetic and supportive team that celebrates successes together!
