Territory Manager

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Territory Manager that will focus on growing the commercial efforts and overall presence of iRhythm in the Netherlands. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies aimed at meeting revenue targets, increasing market presence and growing the customer base. As the face of the company in the Netherlands, you will represent iRhythm professionally at meetings, in-person and virtual exhibitions, workshops and other events. As you build a strong network within the healthcare industry, you will be a thought leader when it comes to medical devices in the cardiovascular space. You will be part of the global sales team and will report directly to the Regional Sales Director for Europe. It will be your goal to drive and represent iRhythm’s values and mission, in order to grow the company within the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

  • You will focus on driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in the Netherlands

  • In order to succeed, you identify new business prospects, perform market analysis and evaluate competitor strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the industry.

  • Generate new business opportunities by actively prospecting and cold calling on potential customers.

  • You visit potential customers, conduct sales presentations and ensure they convert to trusted clients and partners. 

  • You build and maintain strong client relations by offering outstanding customer support, facilitating regular product training sessions and keeping clients up to date.

  • Establish and nurture robust connections and build a strong network of key decision-makers in the Dutch healthcare industry.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical specialists, customer experience and customer support, to ensure an excellent customer experience.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the field of cardiac arrhythmia and effectively communicate service features, benefits and clinical evidence to healthcare professionals.

Job requirements

Your experience

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in the medical device industry, specifically in the cardiology space in the Netherlands.

  • In-depth knowledge of cardiac health products, clinical applications and the healthcare landscape in the Netherlands.

  • You have a clear understanding of the decision-making mechanisms within the Dutch healthcare system.

  • You have a strong network of healthcare professionals and key stakeholders in hospitals such as procurement and cardiology.

  • Strong communication, presentation and networking abilities

  • You’re energetic, highly motivated and results-oriented, with an entrepreneurial mindset

  • You’re able to travel within the Netherlands to visit (potential) clients and partners  (approx. 50% travel)

  • You’re native in Dutch, speak excellent English and you’re based in the Netherlands
