The Opportunity

As we expand our operations into the Czech market, we are seeking an experienced Head of Claims to join our team in Prague. This is an excellent opportunity to establish and lead our claims operations in the Czech Republic, working with cutting-edge technology while shaping the future of insurance in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the Hellas Direct Czech Claims department and team

  • Execute and maintain operational efficiency and effectiveness within claims operations

  • Develop and implement claims capabilities, processes, KPIs, and operations

  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory authorities

  • Manage key operational relationships with partners in Czech Republic

  • Support IT integration between Hellas Direct systems and local Czech systems

  • Drive operational excellence with a focus on customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance

  • Lead and develop the claims team to ensure high performance and engagement


Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • University degree

  • 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry

  • Extensive experience in claims management and processing of motor vehicle claims

  • Deep understanding of the Czech insurance regulatory framework and market

  • Knowledge of claims operations management

  • Excellent leadership and managerial capabilities

  • Strong communication skills

  • Solid understanding of financial management

  • Demonstrated ability to build and motivate teams
